Hi, I’m Eleanor, a photographer from the North East of England. My work spans from portraiture to fashion editorial photography, yet I feel most at home blending into the streets and communities with my camera.

I guess the reason I love street photography is because it's so pure and unfiltered. It allows me to capture the lives and personalities of amazing people around the world. For me, street photography is as much about the interactions I have with people as it is about the final image. I like to give eye contact and a little head nod first or strike up a conversation when I am taking my photos. Each person and situation is different but everyone has a story to tell.

My biggest passion is New York City. The people, the neighbourhoods, the parks, the nightlife, everything and more. It's where I feel the most alive. Anything goes in NYC and that's what I love about it. Nothing is out of the ordinary.

I have most recently been working on the creation of my publication UNFILTERED: NYC. A celebration of the raw, authentic New York City, telling the stories of the people on the tucked-away streets, the basketball courts and the tiny hidden kiosks. I spent time in the city interviewing New Yorkers, chatting with locals and photographing unique characters throughout the five boroughs.

I approach my projects in an easygoing manner with diligence and precision. I am always looking for new challenges and I work efficiently to deliver quality outcomes. My calm energy is a perfect match for any fast-paced environment.
